Samsara: the Dining room

The thatched roof dining area at Jungle Brook Camp resort is open on all sides and offers a rustic feel. Overlooking both the pebbled riverbed and the hills, it is the focal point of most activity in the resort and hence named so. The restaurant serves Indian, Chinese, Continental and local Kumaoni cuisine. Meals are served as a buffet comprising Indian, continental and local Kumaoni fare. Dinner at night is a beautiful candle lit experience.

 

Lounge

The lounge area is enveloped within the dining room. It is again circular and mosaic tiled having quaint furniture for lounging and indoor entertainment options like videos, board games, paperbacks, and the trusty carom board. Catch up on old classics like Monopoly and Scrabble while you spend time with each other.

 

 

The Deck

The Deck is a machaan inspired wooden platform that extends over the pebbled riverbed below. Enjoy the deck for its view and sunny warmth during the day. Swaying hammocks and sun kissed lawns are sure to set a pace to your idyllic vacation. It doubles up as a great vantage point for the evening bonfire, an essential camp experience of spirits and bonhomie by the fireside. Also available are outdoor games like cricket, badminton and volleyball.
