Spread in two and a half acres, The Jungle Brook has two distinct types of
accommodation spread across the property. The thatched Meru tents and the truly
unique Zulu Cottages.
Meru Tents (15 Units)
The Meru Tents have thatched roofs and are done up after the colonial hunting
tents of the African Meru Tribes. The word Meru means a quiet place and this
best describes the peace you would find in these delightfully appointed
accommodations. Each of these tents is equipped with European style bathrooms,
western closets and open sit outs in a private verandah. Colorful linen, warm
dhurries make the interiors pleasant and elegant. The accommodation is insulated
against weather and stays comfortable even in the nastiest winter. Enjoy
lounging on the deck chairs in the verandah or sway in the sun kissed hammocks
during the day until you retire to the enchanting glowing experience of the
tents at night.
Zulu Cottages (02 Units)
Zulu Cottages are styled like the dwelling huts of Zulus of Africa. The huts
have an open courtyard measuring 600 square feet with a private courtyard, a log
fireplace and a machan. These circular huts have big rooms with tiled
floors and high thatched roofs. Tiled flooring and platform beds complements the
stream of light that filters from the colourful panes and large bay windows
during the day. Sunbathe in private comfort of the verandah or use the Cot on
the Machaan to read, snooze or enjoy the views. Complete the experience with a
log fireplace in the cold winter nights. The finest facilities of the resort
will ensure a home away from home
