Cottages and tents, machans (raised platforms, often in trees) and hidden trails, and being completely oblivious to the outside world – that is what Camp Potter’s Hill is all about. A perfect place for school camps. One can stay here in luxurious Tents & Cottages. Fresh air, large spacious areas, the views, and a complete privacy (a gap of around 10-15 ft. between each unit) are all a part and parcel of what makes Camp Potter’s Hill so delightful.
There are 11 Cottages, 7 Deluxe Tents and a Tree house to choose from.
Cottages:
The rooftop of the cottage covered by tin sheet and hidden by a flap of tent makes it look like a tent from outside. Each cottage has basic amenities such as proper beds, attached washrooms with western toilets and running electricity. Just incase the temperature dips & your teeth starts to rattle, hot water can be obtained through the gas-heated geysers. Also a small verandah with each unit allows you to enjoy the nature unhindered.
Swiss Tent:
Swiss tents come with attached toilets, cot bedding, centre table, etc. and with the same ameneties that of cottages but none of the luxury like televisions anf refrigerators as they are not the necessity of the place. A full running kitchen with professional staff serves well-prepared north Indian food for its guests.
Tree house:
As a young child (or perhaps even an adult) who hasn’t dreamed of living in tree houses? We make this dream come true for you. More than 22 feet off the ground, the tree house at the Camp is perfect for recreation. A maze of staircases around the tree trunk would lead you to a fully furnished room, attached with toilet and other modern amenities. Strong and safe, the parquet floors and the pinewood rafters conspire to make one believe that the Tree house has risen organically from the earth. Enjoy sunny afternoons, reading in the midst of the peaceful sounds of nature. Or simply gaze around the beautiful surrounding of Himalayan woods.
